| Details | Cost range will be provided ITEMS: LIGHTING Per Travelers insurance report need to take corrective action with Gym lighting per attached: Metal halide lights were noted throughout the gym area. Metal halide lights have been known to fail catastrophically, showering molten glass fragments onto surfaces and objects beneath the light. In order to contain these fragments, one of the following should be done: * Replace the metal halide lights with UL-listed glass fixtures that have integral containment barriers, constructed of tempered or borosilicate glass. The fixtures should be designed to contain molten fragments of quartz or glass (up to 1100C). * Modify existing fixtures by installing tempered or borosilicate glass containment barriers or enclosures. Consult the original fixture manufacturer when planning modifications.
