Maybe they can introduce a motion-sensing light switch. The question about the loading dock (0127), whether it is possible to remodel it, and what (how much) it would take to remodel it is something that we will talk to FP&M about. Ideally, if they could remodel it in a way that combines spaces 0116B, 0126, 0126A, and 0126B and makes them accessible through one single access door that would improve both moving around the area and ease collaboration across both physical areas. I am not sure whether that ideal configuration is possible, but we can certainly inquire about it. Allocation of a part of 0127: Lorrie will investigate the feasibility of allocating a portion of 0127 to the Robotics Laboratory through remodeling, although this may entail significant costs. We would like to have the Engineering Team review the recently installed Water Heater for Code Compliance in the mechanical room and develop a detailed plan to correct any deficiencies found that could be shared with either a contractor or in-house staff. An engineering probable cost estimate would be appreciated.
