EHS tested mastic under tiles and found asbestos. During summer we would like the tiles and mastic removed. Clean sealed cement floor is what we would like to end up with.

EHS has indicated multiple research labs on the first floor of Black require safety showers. 1116, 1095 and 1103

New carpet in all the offices and conference rooms on the third floor like what we have been installing on the second floor. When all the IMSE folks move out when their new building is done replace all the carpet on the third floor with the new carpet we are having installed on second.

New carpet squares installed over raised floors in computer lab 1012 and a classroom 95E in Black. We prefer square tiles that can be carpet taped at the corners so we can still access the wiring underneath. Like the carpet in 1020 Black. There is a lot of foo traffic and rolling chairs so something that wears well.
