I was not sure if this would be considered a project? We need two new signs for each side of our Ross 212 Conference Room. The current signs are 14"L x 5"H. Black background with white lettering (I'll attach a photo to this request). They currently say: Department of English Faculty-Graduate Student Lounge & Reading Room We would like new signs (same size to avoid wall repair) that say: Department of English Conference Room

218 Ross Hall is currently more of a storage room right now, but we do keep a lot of DVD's stored in there for our Film Studies course instructor, among other miscellaneous items such as a couple of old desks, wheeled carts, etc. We are working on relocating the DVD's, and we can either Surplus some of the rest of the items, or move them to our other storage room, 318. We are interested in converting 218 to a dining type area for people to use for lunch or breaks. We will not have any appliances or countertop electrical items, we mainly just want some tables and chairs to make it a nice space in which to eat or gather.

Duane Strah stopped by today in reference to Request number 341913 which was for new signs needed for Ross 212. We talked with him about making a another new sign for what is going to be our new Lunchroom, 218 Ross. It will be exactly like the sign that hangs from the ceiling directing people to our mailroom, but it will say "Lunchroom", with arrows on each side pointing to the room. Duane suggested I put in this ticket.

** NOTE ** Scott Jasper and intern Bailey looked at this request with me today and they have notes. 412 Ross is currently being utilized as space for some of our Graduate TA's. We want to remove all of the desks and turn it into a conference room. We want to add tables and chairs that match what we have in Ross 212 (Scott & Bailey took photos) We need an Interior Designer to look at the space and tell us how many tables/chairs could be used in there (Ross 412) based on the sizes that are in 212. We are considering shifting the main office to Ross 559 and repurposing 503 to be a seminar room. This might involve taking out the door that connects 503 to 509. We would want an estimate new office furniture and signage and removal of unneeded office furniture from both rooms. It would also be useful to know how much it would cost to move the mail boxes in 501 to 503 if we decided to go a different direction. I am a little curious how much it would cost to remove the built in storage from 503 but that is probably out of our price range. 4/28/2023 Change in scope: Moving equipment, new furniture and removing/discarding of unnecessary desks, filing cabinets brackets & Shelving from the walls.

The Fire Marshall came through our building and requested we install automatic door holders on 603 and 618. Tim Kelley in FP&M said we would need to connect these door holders to a system in the basement of Ross and gave us a rough estimate. We would like a formal written estimate to request funds from our college.

We have a 65" monitor that we would like to have mounted on the 2nd floor in the hallway, south wall, immediately preceding the 212 Ross Conference Room. We will need you to purchase the mount for the monitor. There is an electrical outlet on that wall toward the ground that will need to be relocated so it sits behind the monitor. Lastly, we would like to know an estimate on either purchasing a pre-made "box" to surround the monitor on each side to protect it from possible damage (if someone should accidentally catch their bookbag on it while walking through the hall, or other similar scenario), or if Carpentry could possibly make such a box.

Engineering review of the Condensate Tank and associated piping in Ross for Code Compliance and safety. Mike McCoy, is familiar with some of the issues and I would like to have him take a closer look, develop a scope of work and cost range to bring this system into code and safety compliance to ISU standards.
