Additional Notes:

Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University in the spring of 2014. During his time at ISU, Paul was a member of the Cardinal Key Society, Sigma Gamma Tau Aerospace Society, Tau Beta Pi Engineering Society, Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, AirISU, Salt Company college ministry, and numerous other clubs and organizations. Paul was a friend to all and served everyone he met with compassion and love. He was a source of light and happiness in the lives of those who knew him. Paul’s life was marked with the love of Jesus. He lived a short, but impactful life, and his friendship has left a lasting mark on his classmates, fraternity brothers, and fellow ISU students and alumni. Paul and his wife Sarah met at Iowa State in Differential Equations class, and they shared many great memories on campus. The memorial bench is placed facing the only tree on campus decorated for the holidays. Paul and Sarah often took breaks from studying their aerospace curriculum to admire the decorated tree whenever it snowed, and visiting the tree was one of their favorite memories of their time at ISU. The bench was dedicated in 2015.
