WHY: Air handler requires repair to fan shaft assembly

Air handler which provides ventilation air, cooling and heating to your work area requires services to repair damaged fan shaft assembly. Repair activity will take approximately 5-days. Old shaft will be removed and sent to machine shop to duplicate a replacement shaft.
Your work area will be without ventilation and cooling air during the repair activity.
Purpose of this notification is to gather feedback to coordinate dates to begin the repair activity. Waiting too long may result in complete failure of fan shaft assembly and unplanned downtime. Please contact Bob Currie for additional information.
Due to maintenance or construction activities, we must schedule a temporary interruption of services in your building or in a building occupied by your department.
Please inform/share information regarding this PROPOSED interruption with others in your building or department to assure that we have the input of all affected faculty/staff.
Reply to the coordinator (listed above) with any issues or concerns. If this proposed interruption will not work for you, contact the coordinator with suggestions for an alternate date and time.
