We currently monitor 44 buildings for energy use. We have some good news from our November meter readings - Of our 44 benchmark buildings, 36 used less electricity in November 2003 than a typical November and only 8 used more electricity. Thanks.
Occupants of Howe Hall, Memorial Union, Design College, Sweeney, Town Engineering, Agronomy, and Scheman : These fully metered benchmark buildings collectively saved $343,488 in FY03. These same buildings have already saved $107,820 in FY04.
Occupants of Catt, Coover, Curtiss, Davidson, Food Science, Heady, LIDIF, Palmer, Park Library (Addition), and Seed Science: These buildings used at least 20 percent less electricity in November 2003 as compared to their November benchmark electric bill.
Occupants of Black, Coover, Food Science, Jacobson/Olsen, Lied: These buildings have each already saved at least $3,000 on their electric bills this fiscal year.
