Customer Notification - Cardboard Recycling at Howe Hall
AFFECTED BLDG(S): Howe Hall
COORDINATOR: Gloria Erickson at gerickso@mail.adp.iastate.edu or 294-7977
With your help, we would like to recycle more cardboard from Howe Hall. Reports indicate that much cardboard is going into the Dumpster, rather than on the dock for recycling.
Please spread the word to all building occupants, asking that they remove contaminants from the cardboard (Styrofoam, plastic, and other packing materials) and place the cardboard on the building dock (rather than in the Dumpster).
A local vendor picks up cardboard from Howe Hall every Wednesday. This service is free and reduces refuse costs for the university, as well as recycles the cardboard.
Additional details about the cardboard recycling program are available from our website at http://www.fpm.iastate.edu/recycling/recycling_at_isu.asp. Posters that you can use to advertise the program are also available from the website.
Your help and cooperation is appreciated. Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything I can do to help. Thank you.
