Iowa State University and Sasaki and Associates prepared a comprehensive Master Plan
for the campus which was adopted by the Board of Regents, State of Iowa, in 1991.
The plan continues to serve as a planning framework for physical development of the campus.
Listed below are documents for your reference.
The first is a summary of the 1991 Master Plan followed by the complete Master Plan.
The third and fourth document are the 1995 & 2000 Supplemental Progress Report presented to the Board of Regents.

Land Management Plan for Campus and Ames Area Agricultural Properties
Iowa State University's Land Management Plan for Campus and Arnes Area Agricultural Properties was created to identify and prioritize current and future land-use and land management needs in the Ames area. The plan is to ensure that the university has adequate and accessible land to support the teaching and research activities of the colleges of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine and research by faculty in other ISU colleges.
