Because charges vary so greatly, we recommend using the rate calculators provided by each company.  Rates are generally based on weight and zone (which factors in how far a piece must travel).  Please keep in mind that express rates are only estimates, and the only way to know an exact charge is to wait until the billing cycle has been completed.

Postcard requirements:

  • Apply barcode sticker
  • Minimum dimensions - 3.5" x 5"
  • Maximum dimensions - 4.25" x 6"
  • Paper must be at least .007 inches thick (an index card is thick enough)

Non-standard (oversized) 1 oz. pieces will cost an extra $0.17.  To determine if your piece fits within the USPS standard size regulations, use the template.

First Class Air Mail

In order to save you costs on Airmail, re-mailers are utilized for regular international letters containing only paper/documents and weighing under 1 lb (except for Canada and Mexico).  These companies are able to offer a lower postage rate by combining the volumes of outgoing mail from many different companies, therefore qualifying for a bulk rate.  Using the services of a re-mailer do not affect the transit time of your piece. 

If, for any reason, you prefer us not to use the re-mailer service, please indicate on the mail instruction card that you would like us to send your piece(s) through the USPS.
