Building Maintenance Building Maintenance maintains and develops mechanical, electrical, structural, and environmental systems associated with campus facilities. The building automation system is interconnected campus-wide to operate the heating, cooling, security, and fire safety systems for most buildings. This building automation system is controlled from a central location to monitor, adjust, and optimize the operation. Building Maintenance also manages in-house remodeling and repair projects. Area mechanics are distributed throughout the campus buildings to provide more immediate response to routine maintenance activities.
