Welcome! Iowa State University is excited to be hosting the 19th Annual Big 10 and Friends Utility Conference in Ames, Iowa. We are looking forward to meeting with our counterparts, as well as the good discussions, good cheer, and good times that come with this group.
Ames is located in the center of Iowa, approximately 30 miles north of Des Moines. Ames is a smaller community with a population of about 52,000 people. Iowa State University, with a student population of over 26,000 students, is located in the center of Ames and has had significant influence on the development of Ames.
