In Room 0410 of Beardshear Hall the roof is leaking again. The leak is in the southwest corner of the room where the drop ceiling has already been removed since we've had this issue before. We're getting about 1-2 drops per second and it probably started some time after 5PM today.
It seems like it's currently in hand for now since I put a plastic wastebasket under the leak, but this is a student work area that is now off the table and it was leaking onto our computers and phones and would've continued to do so if I hadn't caught it. It's frankly irritating!
Patti Kendall (pmkendal@iastate.edu or 294-7233) who is the Clerk IV w/ Financial Aid would probably be a better follow-up contact for this than I would be. She gets in earlier than me so she will probably reach out about this or open a ticket as well.

Moving into a project because Wes Gee stated that window film on the exterior windows would not be approved. He recommended looking into the second blackout shade or possibly the same colored shade that will allow less light through potentially. That way all the shades in the office suite will still match. |

Middle stall door: Adjust the stall door lock so that it operates more smoothly and is not sticking in the locked position.
Toilet seats: Replace the worn seats.
Soap dispenser: Relocate the dispenser to an area that prevents it from dripping on the outlet and ruining the counter top.
Paper towel dispenser: Make sure it is dispensing correctly.
Door gaps: Please check the stall doors and fix any gaps or inconsistencies with them.

-There is a lot of sticky residue left from where the soap dispenser was removed from between the mirrors/above the outlet. Is there anyway to help prevent the wear and tear on the countertop from the soap? Can they add something to the bottom of the wood door to help provide some privacy and reduce the door gap into the women’s restroom? |
