Technician ordered a new programmable chip for the indicator. Returned 1/14/2026, and installed the new programmed EPROM chip for the position indicator, checked overall operation and returned car to service. So far I have been able to get my department master key to open it, but there is a spot where my key gets stuck and it very hard to push past. His key won't go past that point at all. I feel like I also need to log on here that this is an issue of wear and tear on an older building and not a user-caused problem and should not be charged to our department to fix.
