5/20/2025 442706 SCI 2 After Hours Call Elevator entrapment at 8:24 pm. 4 individual stuck between 3rd and 4th floor. The riders were able to open a level and get out of the elevator. Schumacher was notified. When technician arrived he found the car stuck between floors 3 and 4 with the overspeed switch set and the sos switch was tripped. There were no faults indicating the elevator controls caused the elevator to overspeed. He reset the governor over speed switch, test the elevator extensively, and returned to service. The entrapment was caused due to the passengers jumping in the car. 4.75 Hours X $409.70 = $1946.08 Stephanie Gorden Assigned

8/22/2025 466742 SCI 2 Elevator in Science II was squealing and it had started to smell like burning rubber and it started smoking. It is shut off with one of the custodians stop key. Technician found a toilet overflowed down the elevator shaft. While troubleshooting and assessing for possible water damage, he found several blown fuses. He replaced the fuses, replaced the car direction arrows and chimes, replaced the triac on the HC-PCIO board, monitored operation and returned to service. From Craig Abel: I would like FP&M's help moving 4 Percival growth chambers from the 6th floor hallway in ATRB to Room 619 Science Hall II. The growth chambers are labeled Abel-1, Abel-2, Abel-3, and Abel-4. I will have labels on the wall of Room 619 corresponding where each growth chamber needs to go. We measured and they are all "34" wide so FP&M will need to remove the Room 619 door. Two of the growth chambers are 67" long and its going to be a close call if they will fit in our elevator. It might be good for FP&M to discuss options with us before they do the actual move.
