The double doors for the boiler room contain fixed vents despite the 2012 boiler upgrade plans requiring a 2HR rating for the room. 90 min doors that meet the requirements for IBC chapter 7 requirements for opening protectives should be installed. Any remaining ventilation should contain proper automatic fire dampers. This may need to be upgraded to a project.

Replacement of HEF 24 at ASC 1.

Need a quote for the fix at first as we are at the transition period from the old to the new fiscal year. Fix the leakage at a joint in the liquid nitrogen line. If possible, change the plumbing so that the future repair do not need to cut the pipe off. Note (1) this is for liquid nitrogen flow at a temperature at least -196°C (-321°F), and (2) the nitrogen is for research needing high purity nitrogen gas or liquid nitrogen and the joint shall not release any debris and contamination.
