Current Projects in Beardshear Hall

Multiple areas. I would like the pamphlet display in the east side of the hallway of 0210 removed, the wall patched and painted as needed. 0460B Beardshear I would like to move the desk again the south wall into the 0640A office and remove the old desk on the south wall of 0640A and send to asset recovery. 0460B Beardshear I would like to move out the north desk to storage and remove the shelves and bins from the walls and patch and paint as needed. In 0460B purchase and install a large monitor on the north wall of the office. In 0460B price a meeting table that would fit the area for small work group meetings. In 0640 in the main room I would like to have the north wall patched and painted.

I would like to purchase two additional Steelcase chairs to match our purchase from the past October. I have attached a copy of our purchase.

Tammy Hansen, Interim Accounts Receivable Director, has developed a proposal to move the ISU Card Office operations into the Accounts Receivable suite (0880 Beardshear) and repurpose the existing space in the ISU Card Office (0530 Beardshear) to provide two offices and hoteling space for the Accounts Receivable Accounting Team. This would align all student facing customer service positions within one shared space. Pam Cain and I are very supportive of this direction and would like to begin working to develop a project design plan, budget and timeline. 2/22/2024 Scope Update This will be a move of the Treasurer Staff from BDSHR 0810 to 0530 and the Card Staff will be moved from 0530 to 0810. They will need new furniture and would like to look at the 0810 space to see if it can be redesigned for better use for the card office.

Please provide Dr. Sean Reeder, SVP with new traditional office furniture with new layout for functionality and privacy. Table and chairs for 4 people, likes the idea of the Tree Cycle program if possible. Also needs a conference table and chairs in Room 1350J.

Proceeding with the necessary modifications and installation of security/safety film for Windows in Beardshear Hall, Room 2350. This effort will require the technical expertise/assistance of a ballistics/security expert + developing a scope of work / associated cost to ensure clarity of expectations.

We need window film installed in 2 different offices in 2350 Beardshear to reduce glare on screens. Moving into a project because Wes Gee stated that window film on the exterior windows would not be approved. He recommended looking into the second blackout shade or possibly the same colored shade that will allow less light through potentially. That way all the shades in the office suite will still match.

We would like to move the existing workststation in 2550 front area to an area outside of 2550B. In addition, create two identical workstations in that space. We would like to reuse the existing panels if possible.

EO Office will be relocating from Beardshear 3410 to Beardshear 2680. Will need to relocate and/or reconfigure furniture for several areas within suites 2680 & 2750. Will likely need some new furniture. May need to be phased in over time due to budget. Mary Sirna PG102132

Cost Estimate to replace the ADA toilet in BDSHR 3rd floor women’s restroom. This may include re-routing plumbing and repairing tile work as needing to get this done.

We would like to change wording on our glass doors to correctly reflect occupants of each of the areas. This includes 3750, 3680, 3770, 3280, 3210, and 3810.
