We have some blackout shades that were removed from another room during the window project that we would like to use in room 003 (which has no shades). It appears that there are some missing components. Can heartland window coverings check this for us as far as installation and replacement of missing parts?

We would like to install a soda kiln on the patio outside of room 0040. It will also need some protection from the elements and a plan from EH&S to use the space safely. Quote for the Kiln is in G drive project folder and Lx folder.

College of Design Reading Room (111) and miscellaneous first floor office space (158, 158A) In fall 2023, we had engaged the services of an architecture firm, DLR, to help us understand the potential scope of this project. This project scope is limited to interior remodeling on our first floor of the College of Design. In particular the scope includes the remodeling of critical spaces for our ongoing operations and course work. The biggest project is the remodeling the former "Reading Room" space (Parks Library is shutting down operations and moving stacks out of the space) into design studios/classrooms. The first phase of this project will not involve any major demolition, extensive interior partitions, or changes in lighting, electrical, HVAC, sprinkler, or plumbing. It will simply involve new furniture, finishes, and AV installations which we can accomplish working directly with FPM. Eventually, we may have more extensive remodeling, based on what we identify as our long term use needs for this space--again, with the assistance of an architectural firm. There are other smaller miscellaneous interior remodeling projects to support our ongoing recruitment efforts (e.g., convert existing mailroom to open space space/waiting space for visitors, relocating mailroom elsewhere). Minimal changes in interior partitions and doors are necessary but not HVAC, electrical, sprinkler, etc. This will not require architectural services outside of the scope that FPM can provide. Schedule Considerations The ideal schedule for our Reading Room project m! ay not be possible--it depends, in part, on the timing of when Library will have all items moved out of our Reading room space (Room 111). Ideally if they move out by May, we can begin spending some of these funds towards the immediate reconfiguring of the space for our first phase of work. We would like to look at this space (all of the 126 spaces) holistically for renovation. We have two full time staff and 2-3 part time staff and need some dedicated meeting space as well as hoteling and closed door office space. This may include moving some plumbing as well as wall configurations.

We would like to make 146A into two offices. It is currently one office with a double door. Will need separate thermostats and lighting. See prior project PR024112 with details.

We do not need to have it installed Tuneable light for room 216A (please see attached quote). We will need to have this installed with electrical and a switch. 4'x6' floating glass board. Specification is Clarus Float Glass Board, magnetic. Color: CBC-506 with a box tray. No color drop option. No installation.

This project would involve making room 307 or 326 in the College of Design into something like 4128 in SICTR (team workstations). My desire would be to have this up and running by Spring 2023. My hope would be also look at how to upgrade the finishes of the room as well (wall colors, lighting, etc).

I would like to add inset electrical boxes to both the corridor side of the wall and the inside wall. The corridor side will be for a tablet (no ethernet required). The interior one will be for a TV hookup. This will be for 376,476,576, 392,492,592.

Engineering review of the Domestic Water Heater and associated piping in Design for Code Compliance and safety. We would like to investigate converting the men's restroom on the first floor into a lactation space and the women's bathroom (R0175) into a family/gender neutral bathroom.

We would like to initiate a PIR to address the following: Replace the buildings Lower Level abandoned Unit Ventilator System with a new AHU system to provide fresh and tempered air throughout the space to current code and air exchange rates.
