Current Projects in Hixson-Lied Student Success Center

We are looking at updating our reception space in the main SAS office and wanted an opinion about what options there were for the space. Ideally, we would like to reuse most of the front desk, remove the unused section by the big windows, and add privacy pieces to the desk to hide the cords. We would also like to move the desk to the other side of the room, but it is a wired-in desk. We think the entire process would include repainting one of the walls, adding a decal to the wall, taking apart and moving the reception desk and wiring it in a different spot, getting additional privacy desk pieces, and potentially replacing the carpet as it may be unusable under the desk (but we are not sure).

We are wanting to look into replacing our lights in our reception space, possible dimmable lights. We would like to have a cost estimate.

I need to order a new desk for this office space.
