Description:
Improving signage for the Lloyd veterinary medical center
1. the signs along the right hand side of Riverside Drive-the first sign displaying where to turn for small animal hospital is located too close to the entry of the employee parking lot leading to a number of client complaints that the signs are not clear - is it possible to move this sign further up riverside drive closer to the turn to enter the main small animal entrance/client parking?
2. I would like to add a lighted sign to the canopy over the entrance to the small animal hospital. The lighted sign would be similar to the lighted red and white plus sign on S. 16th Street. It would be a square, lighted with the red Plus and white background to better identify for owners in an emergency situation where to go.

Description:
We would like to have rooms 1884 and 1880 evaluated to modify the spaces into one room to house a resident blood donor cat colony.
There are requirements to have a certain level of ventilation, at least one large viewing window (preferably 2) and a door to an ante room prior to entering a door into the housing area to prevent escape. In the ante room we would like to have cabinets (hopefully reuse the ones currently in the area) and a sink.
I can attach pictures of the current area to this request.
LLOYD-SA Reception-443681-Add Handicap Buttons and Signage
Schematic Design
Room: General
Request date: 5/28/2025
Requested by: Ashley Vanauken
Contact: Steven Daniels
Construction start: 9/2/2025
Construction end: 3/3/2026
Description:
We would like to add a sign to the SA Reception area with arrows directing people to both the waiting area and the restrooms. On the attached picture, its the red/orange option hanging from the ceiling.
We would also like to have a handicap-accessible button added to the exit doors (1818) and the family restroom in the reception.
We can plan to have the signage made by ISU printing services as needed. It, but we were not sure if it should be reviewed by an ISU Architect or similar to insure it complies with ADA contrast, font and size for the distance you intend it to be read from. Hanging it from the ceiling has many options. It would be nice to know how it will be hung before the signs are ordered so if holes have to be made they do not interfere with the printed words.
We will need to update the account prior to moving forward- account listed is for planning expense only.
