Notes

This plaque memorializes Jeff Myers and Brian Vincent, members of the Iowa State Track and Cross Country teams, and Laura Vernon, a member of the Iowa State Swimming and Diving team, who died in a plane crash in February 1978. This plaque was originally installed northwest of Ross Hall and relocated to an area east of Horticulture Hall prior to the construction of the Jischke Honors Building. The plaque was subsequently relocated to the Hixson-Lied Student Success Center prior to the construction of Troxel Hall.
