Dr. Paul Wray, Professor Emeritus, and longtime forestry extension faculty member, devoted over 30 years of his life to forestry extension, and outreach. Dr. Wray encouraged people in Iowa and surrounding states to plant and manage trees throughout his life, and he educated them in proper planting and management techniques. Dr. Wray’s extension efforts led to a better informed citizenry, and to untold number of threes planted as a result of his teaching. Bur Oak planted April 26, 2019.
