Gerdin Business Building - Expansion Project

This project takes place at the southeast corner of Gerdin Business Building, Wallace Road near construction site from February 2019 until early 2021 (all projected dates are subject to change. The goal of this project is to construct critically needed additional space through an efficient, flexible, and adaptable expansion to the Gerdin Business Building. The expansion will provide student-focused instructional and collaboration space, faculty and graduate student offices, and common spaces to support curricular, co-curricular, and special events.

What To Expect:
• Closure of the east entrance during the duration of the project. The building will be accessible from the east via the single doors located on the northeast and southeast corners.
• Wallace Road to close from Union Drive to just west of the East Campus Parking Deck entrance. A temporary traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of Wallace Road and Beach due to increased northbound traffic.
• CyRide bus travel will be impacted causing potential changes in routes and/or stop locations. Please check the CyRide schedule.
• Sidewalk closures around the construction area. Watch for alternate routes of travel.
