FPM awarded the IRPE Bronze Achievement

On March 1, 2005, Iowa State University Facilities Planning and Management was recognized with the Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence (IRPE) Bronze Achievement by the Iowa Quality Center (IQC) in Des Moines, Iowa.

The IRPE process uses the national Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria for the applicable year. The form of the Baldrige Criteria (Business, Education, Healthcare) will be determined by the nature of the organization's operations. The Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence program is intended to provide organizations in Iowa an opportunity to share in the values and achievements associated with continuous quality improvement. It is designed for use by manufacturing, service, government, education, healthcare, and not-for-profit organizations interested in improving quality, productivity, financial effectiveness, and global competitiveness.

This award is testimony to the ongoing efforts of all in FPM and communicates the message of a job well done by the organization's staff on our quality journey towards achieving world class.
