AFFECTED PARKING LOT # & LOCATION: 8 PARKING STALLS IN LOT 36 / EAST ENTRANCE TO ZAFARANO

ALTERNATE ROUTE: Sidewalks East of Science two and Lagomarcino
WHY: Construction/Emergency Repairs east of Zafarano

AFFECTED SIDEWALK: Sidewalk in front of MacKay Hall, south side of Osborn Drive
ALTERNATE ROUTE: Sidewalk on north side of Osborn Drive
WHY: Crane being used with MacKay Roof reconstruction.

AFFECTED ROAD/S: 24th Street (Stange Rd to Hayes Ave)
ALTERNATE ROUTE: Bloomington Rd or 13t St
WHY: The City of Ames has contracted with Con-Struct for the reconstruction of Stange Rd and 24th St.

NOTES: On Monday, August 26th, and Tuesday, August 27th, the eastbound lane of 24th St will be closed from Stange Rd to Hayes Ave for paving. Eastbound traffic will need to detour to Bloomington Rd or 13th St. The westbound lane will remain open. The Edenburn Dr entrance to Schilletter Village will be closed.The work zone will have low speeds and narrow lanes. Allow extra travel time as DELAYS WILL OCCUR. If paving cannot proceed due to rain, the paving and closure will take place on the next clear weather day.
ANTICIPATED DURATION: Anticipated duration to complete the paving operation is two days.
