The Ames Lab will be closing 4 to 5 parking spots on the east side of the Metals Development building to unload and load equipment on the east dock. The spots will be closed on the 29th and 30th of July.

AFFECTED SIDEWALK: East and west sidewalk in the courtyard between Roberts Hall and Barton Hall.
ALTERNATE ROUTE: East and west sidewalk to the north between Lyon Hall and Freeman/Barton Hall, or east and west sidewalk to the south running along Welch Hall.
WHY: Steam Tunnel Work

AFFECTED ROAD/S: 24th Street (Stange Rd to Hayes Ave)
ALTERNATE ROUTE: Bloomington Rd or 13t St
WHY: The City of Ames has contracted with Con-Struct for the reconstruction of Stange Rd and 24th St.

NOTES: On Tuesday, June 18th, and Wednesday, June 19th, the westbound lane of 24th St will be closed from Hayes Ave to Stange Rd. The eastbound lane will remain open with traffic maintained by a flagger. Eastbound traffic will see possible delays due to the flagging operation, please use Bloomington Rd or 13th St if possible. The Edenburn Dr entrance to Schilletter Village will have right turn movements only.
The work zone will have low speeds and narrow lanes. Allow extra travel time as DELAYS WILL OCCUR.
ANTICIPATED DURATION: Anticipated duration to complete the paving operation is two days. Westbound traffic will be reopened to traffic at the end of paving each day.

AFFECTED PARKING LOT # & LOCATION: Northern Portion of A3, all of B3 and all of C3. Access to the southern portion of A3 will be available from the North via Center Dr.
